Class 9: Can you imagine a day without numbers?

What would your day be like if numbers did not exist?  Think about and share some of the problems you might encounter.  Would the world be a better place without numbers - what is your opinion?

If there were no numbers I think it would be hard. you would not be able to tell your owen birthday. It would also be hard to drive because there would be no speed . It would be a bad day.

That day would not be Day because a day has numbers like 8-8-09. But it would be fun not having numbers and you just forget about them.It might be a problem though because you wouldn't know what time it is.

I think a day without numbers would be weird. What if you wanted to prepare a meal but you cant because you cant read the instructions or measurements? What if you were watching the television and you wanted to flip to your favorite channel? When your reading a book you would never know what page or chapter your on. If you had something planned that day but you miss it because you cant tell what time of day it is? All these things would happen if we had a day without numbers.

It would be pretty confusing because we use numbers everyday. It would be more confusing to shop, pay bills, go the speed limit etc. It would be hard because instead of numbers we could use words but it still represents a number.Life would be a lot more stressful with no numbers. So I guess it would beb a bad thing not to have numbers

In a day without numbers we wouldn't be able to tell time. Without time we wouldn't know what time to go to work, school, or a hair appointment.
Without numbers we couldn't even think of math or science let alone use them. Or in Social Studies how would we know when everything in history happened.
When I get home from school, how am I supposed to call my mom?? she wouldn't have a phone number. She wouldn't even be able to do her job, she works at a bank. I think a world without numbers would be stressful and confusing, it just wouldn't work.

A day without numbers would be a day of confusion because we would no speed limit, stores would not now how much a item would cost, we couldn't do math, we would have no time or a date, and we would have a hard time paying for bills.

I think that if we had a day without numbers we would be in trouble. How are we supposed to see what date it is on a calendar, how many eggs you put into the brownies you are making, or what page you are on in your book. Plus you would have no age for the day. I'm not sure if anyone could go for a day without numbers. It'd be pretty hard. I guess we could all write out the number in word form and have it that way, but still it is a form of the number. I don't think that I could function properly if there were no numbers, but a day without having to use your brain and figure out math problems would be nice.

A day without numbers would be the day the world blew up, because without numbers there wouldn't be any jobs or anything. Nobody would get paid because there would be no number, there would be no limits, no nothing. Life would be horrible. In overall I think that it would be a bad thing.

A day without numbers would be complicated. We would not be able to perform everyday tasks. We wouldnt be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide. In my opinion it would be a bad thing for everybody

If there a was a day without numbers are life would be all messed up. Nobody would no how old they are, the dates, years, and so on. Being people, we use numbers in our daily life to help us with different things. Some of the things we would not have would be money, homes, school, stores and more. Money is what we purchase stuff with, like food, water, and things we need to live. There is also homes we live in could not be payed for and the numbers we use to help build them. Schools are also another thing too. Math and Science is where we use numbers a lot. So there would be no more school too.

A day without numbers would be very hard to live in. It would be hard because we wouldn't be able to fill out bills, shop for cloths, and food, or go the speed limit. We wouldn't be able to sell or trade stocks, (which is essential to the everyday economy.) We wouldn't be able to tell the date or the time. So I think it would be pretty hard to do A LOT of everyday things if we didn't have numbers.

It would be a challenge. You wouldn't know what time it was, for during school what period it was, if you went shopping the price of you idems, and so on and so forth. I dont think it would be a very good thing if we went a day without numbers.

I think this would be a bad day because you would not be able to buy or sell anything. no one would be on time. The whole day would be messed up. there would be no math class either.

If there was a day without numbers I say the world would be turned into chaos for 1 day. That day is enough to hurt a lot of people financially and worldwidely. People wouldn't be able to tell time, they only could describe the day like sunny, particially sunny and dark. Or say if some countries were at war and someone neded launching coordinates or needed supplies of some sort, there could only b bad guesses were these supplies would go or the pilot will just be clueless because coordinates are usually numbers in military. I have to say now that it would be a bad thing to have a day without numbers.

I think a day without would be hard. If there were no numbers I would not be able to know what the date was. Having no numbers would make it so I would not know what time it is. Not having numbers would mean no math which is a good thing for me. Another bad thing is that money would have no set value, it could be worth anything.

My day would be bad because I would not make it to football on time. I would miss the bus and school. My dad we be at work all the time.

A day without numbers for me would be a terrible day. First off i would probably miss my bus because i couldn't tell time. If i got to school i would not know what class to go to. When i get home homework would be really hard because i wouldn't know what page to turn to in my textbook and that would be my terrible day without numbers.

I their was a day without numbers I think it would be kind of hecktic. You wouldn't be able to to tell time, no the speed limit when driving, measure or build things if your a carpinder or use money. I think it would be a bad thing because there would be a lot of confution.

If there was a day with no numbers, I wouldn't know the time or date. I couldn't go on the computer or watch tv. Nobody could drive or buy anything. It would be hard cause you couldn't do much of anything, I think a day without numbers would be hard.

I think that if we didn't have numbers then everyone would be lost. We would have no speed limits anymore. Would things be free? We wouldn't be able to call or text people.
